LinkedIn Post Formatter does not set cookies. It does keep a small amount of information in your browser’s local storage, on your device only, so your work and settings are still there when you come back.
What is stored on your device
| Key | What it holds | Why |
|---|---|---|
lpf:v1 | Saved drafts, the post you are writing, and the preview device (mobile or desktop) | So your work survives a reload or leaving the page |
lpf:theme | Your theme choice: system, light or dark | So the site keeps your theme |
lpf:profile | The name, headline and photo you chose for the preview card, if you set them | So the preview shows your profile; the photo is shrunk and kept on your device only |
lpf:promo | When the LinkedIn Carousel Maker message was last shown | So it appears at most once a week |
This data never leaves your device and is not sent to us.
Your browser may also keep a copy of the pages and scripts you visit so the site works offline; clearing this site’s data removes it.
Analytics
When analytics is turned on, the site uses Umami Cloud, which works without cookies. See the Privacy policy.
Hosting
Our host, Cloudflare, may set a strictly necessary security cookie in some situations, for example to tell people apart from automated traffic. Those cookies are not used for tracking or advertising.
How to clear it
Delete drafts from the Drafts panel, or clear this site’s data (“cookies and site data”) in your browser settings. Doing so removes saved drafts and your preview profile, and resets the theme. To clear only the profile, use Reset to default under Edit profile.
